I am an Assistant Professor in the Department of Statistics at the University of California, Davis. Previously, I obtained my PhD at Harvard University, and many years ago I grew up in Sussex, England.
My research interests include Astrostatistics, statistical computing (particulary challenges arising in the application of Bayesian methods), Spatio-Temporal Modelling in Environmental Statistics, generalized linear mixed modelling (GLMM), hierarchical modelling and methods for election forecasting (largely in the UK general election).
