Modeling Dynamical Systems -- One Day Workshop

Theme:

A daylong workshop titled "Modeling Dynamic Systems" will be held by the Department of Statistics, University of California, Davis, on March
13, 2010. The theme of the workshop is to focus on modeling of dynamical systems emerging out of various scientific fields including neuroscience, ecology, plant sciences, disease progression, pharmacokinetics and psychology, among others. A number of distinguished speakers will deliver keynote lectures during the workshop, focusing on the potential role of statistics in modeling and analyzing dynamical systems. In addition, some eminent researchers from across the campus have been invited to present works on related topics. The workshop will also involve short presentations by members of the Department of Statistics.
